Chia porridge
There is such a variety of pancake recipes!
Oatmeal lovers, or looking for lactose-free and / or gluten-free recipes, I recommend this 100% oat pancake recipe, which is both healthy and tasty.
Ingredients for approx. 10 pancakes
- 2 cups quick cooking oats (organic and gluten free)
- 2 whole eggs
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) oat milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder, or 1 tablespoon baking powder (gluten free)
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup (or agave syrup)
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Put the oats and salt in your blender, mix until you get a consistency like flour. Put in a bowl and add baking powder and cinnamon.
- In the blender, mix the milk, maple syrup, eggs and vanilla, and add the oats. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more milk. Do not let this paste rest (otherwise it will quickly become too thick).
- Make circles in a pancake pan, previously heated and oiled.
- Turn on both sides between 1 min 30 seconds and 2 minutes.
Then enjoy with maple syrup and fruit according to your taste!
Good brunch!
