Spinach and feta tart
This buckwheat-flour tart will allow you to consume spinach in a different form.
A little garlic and shallot, a feta cheese, and turmeric, all tasty and very healthy ingredients!
Ingredients
- 200 gr of buckwheat flour
- 80 gr of vegetable butter (or your choice) very cold
- 1 whole egg
- 2 cl of very fresh water
For flour you can also use 200 grams of organic wheat flour instead of buckwheat flour.
Preparation:
- Mix the flour, add the butter cut in cubes.
- Sand the dough gently with your fingertips until you have a fine sanding.
- Add the beaten egg and then the fresh water until you have a smooth paste.
- Spread the dough to obtain a bigger disc than your mold and push the dough into the previously buttered and floured mold. Prick the fund with a fork.
- Pre-cook at 350 ° F (180 ° C) the dough for about 10 minutes.
Quiche device
- 3 whole eggs
- 250 ml of soy cream (or almonds, or liquid cream)
- a pinch of cumin
- a pinch of turmeric
- pink Himalayan salt and ground black pepper
- - whip the eggs, the cream, the spices and with a little salt and pepper
Garnish
- 300 gr of spinach
- 150 gr of feta crumbled
- 1 finely chopped shallot
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Fry the garlic, and the shallot with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Add the spinach, and sauté them between 8 and 10 mn maximum (so that the spinach keep their beautiful green color).
- Drain the spinach if cooking water remains, and mix to obtain a puree.
- Mix this puree with the quiche device.
- Garnish the bottom with the crumbled feta cheese, then pour in the dish.
- Cook the tart between 30 and 40 minutes at 350 ° F (180 ° C).
